We are a local association of retired and semi-retired professionals and businessmen. We meet regularly to foster friendship and share interests. There is a range of ages in the club with some members in their 90’s attending. New members usually join after retirement. The Club is non-political and non-sectarian.

History and activities of the Club

Our club celebrated its 30th Anniversary in 2017 and one of our founder members recalled the early years of the club. At present there are 56 members who meet on the first Thursday of each month for lunch and a talk at The South Lawn Hotel near Milford on Sea. Activities including walks, meals out and visits to places of local and national interest. These are arranged regularly through the year and include spouses. In recent years a short foreign break of 5 days has proved popular with the membership.

Members live in Sway, Brockenhurst and the surrounding areas including Milford on Sea, New Milton and Lymington and even the Isle of Wight.
